Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years of experience for an inpatient rehab position with floating to acute care, requiring BLS certification and an active CA license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an inpatient rehab unit with occasional floating to acute care
  • Sunday through Thursday day shift, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM
  • Patient population includes individuals with disabilities or developmental delays requiring rehabilitation
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Clinical supervision of assistants, aides, and assigned students may be required
  • Responsible for assessing, planning, and participating in programs to build or restore daily living and vocational skills
  • Develop and update individualized Plans of Care based on evaluation and patient needs
  • Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary care teams
  • Maintain and document services in compliance with all state and federal regulations
  • Only one holiday will be approved for requested time off
  • Return staff must be gone for at least one year to be eligible to return as a traveler
  • Modules required during orientation, completed via e-learning
  • Locals are accepted at a lower rate

  • Active CA Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
  • Current BLS certification from AHA required
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required
  • Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (or equivalent experience)
  • Must provide copies of certifications for consideration
  • Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing
  • 50 mile travel radius requirement applies
  • Background information (including any DUIs) must be disclosed for consideration
