We're looking for a motivated and creative Web Design Intern to join our team and help shape the online presence of our growing media brand.

Role Overview :

As a Web Design Intern at MBJ Network, you will assist in designing, updating, and optimizing websites that reflect our editorial and brand vision. This is a great opportunity to work on real-world projects, build your portfolio, and gain hands-on experience with a collaborative and fast-paced media team

Job Description

  • This is a 100% UNPAID internship / 3-6 months / Remote
  • Executive letters of recommendation are awarded after the completion of the contract.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and editors to create responsive, user-friendly web pages and layouts.
  • Assist in wireframing, prototyping, and designing pages for desktop and mobile.
  • Help maintain and update existing web content using CMS tools (e.g., WordPress or similar).
  • Support website testing, UX improvement, and performance optimization efforts.
  • Apply branding and style guidelines consistently across all digital touchpoints.
  • Qualifications

    Requirements :

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, UX / UI, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or Photoshop.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML / CSS; JavaScript experience is a plus.
  • Passion for clean, modern design and intuitive user experiences.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a willingness to learn.
  • Portfolio or examples of design work (personal, academic, or professional) strongly preferred.
