About the Role
Were Dispatch Goods, and were building a circular packaging system to replace single-use waste with durable, reusable, injection-molded magic. To keep our supply chain humming, were hiring someone who is :
- scrappy (like actually scrappy)
- super relentless (you follow up until the thing gets done)
- a creative problem solver (you love puzzles, chaos, and fixing whats broken)
- STEM-minded (degree helpful but not required; brain wiring required)
- early career or a new grad
- excellent at something sports, robotics, side hustles, debate, mathletes, building weird stuff anything that shows grit + achievement
Zero experience in sourcing or supply chain required.
We can teach you what a mold, MOQ, or OTIF is.
We cannot teach scrappiness, grit, or follow-through.
What Youll Actually Do
Youll help keep our global supply chain running as we scale reusable packaging across the food industry. That means you will :
Forecast inventory so we dont run out of bowls, lids, cups, or platesOwn (redesign?) a circular inventory management system sounds simple, but is surprisingly complexIssue and track purchase orders with factories in China, India, VietnamHerd vendors, freight brokers, and inspectors to hit deadlinesNegotiate pricing and timelines (nicely, but firmly)Scout new suppliers when we need something better / faster / cheaperTroubleshoot surprises (there will be surprises)Support custom orders for big customersProtect our supply chain from chaos, delays, and wait, what? momentsYoull be talking to real factories, solving real problems, and making decisions that directly impact operations.
