Morning Star is seeking a Case Manager to support children in our Behavioral Rehabilitation Services (BRS) Program If you are passionate about helping vulnerable youth, have a background in social services, and experience with Washington State reporting requirements then we would love to meet you!

Job Summary :

The Case Manager is responsible for coordinating care services for clients in Morning Star's residential BRS program. This includes supporting pre-intake, intake, discharge planning, and ongoing services. The Case Manager works closely with youth, families, social workers, and other providers to develop and implement individualized safety and treatment plans.

This role requires a trauma-informed, strength-based approach and includes regular direct interaction with clients.

Essential Functions include but are not limited to :

• Coordinate and facilitate resident care through assessment, planning, and implementation
• Manage services such as crisis intervention, educational support, and family / youth counseling
• Coordinate and lead / facilitate monthly Child and Family Team Meetings (CFTMs)
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community resources and services
• Advocate for client needs with staff, family members, social workers, and school officials
• Ensure documentation of all client interactions and maintain confidential case records
• Adhere to all Washington State licensing and reporting requirements; provide reports to state agencies and courts as needed
• Supervise and interact regularly with clients in a therapeutic setting
• Transport clients using Morning Star vehicles
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education and Experience :

o Juvenile Rehabilitation facility, detention center, law enforcement, or corrections; or

o A child placing agency or a residential care program in a case management or similar position working with at-risk families and youth.

Benefits offered to FULL-TIME employees include :

Pay : $23.00-26.50 per hour, depending on education and experience
