TITLE : Procurement Manager

POSITION CLASSIFICATION : Exempt

DEPARTMENT : Procurement

POSITION REPORT TO : Director of Procurement

SUMMARY : The Procurement Manager is responsible for sourcing raw materials and components that go into the products sold but Cuisine Solutions. You will work with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, and conditions of sale. You will also be involved in quality control or other aspects of product development.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :

• Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years' experience in procurement in the protein industry (Beef, chicken, pork or specialty meat) preferred, not required.
• Strong negotiation skills required
• Strong supply chain management experience necessary with an emphasis on inventory management in a related industry.
• Organization and time management skills.
