American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU night shift position, requiring a TN or compact license and recent Epic experience.

\n \n

Responsibilities

\n

  • Work in a 6-bed Medical ICU within a 100-bed hospital
  • Caring for adult patients with medical, surgical, and cardiac needs, as well as pediatric patients with medical needs
  • Night shift, 3x12 hour schedule (19 : 00-07 : 00)
  • Floating to other units may be required
  • Uses Epic EMR; recent experience within the last 12 months required
  • Responsibilities include providing critical care to a diverse adult and pediatric patient population
  • All candidates must provide two professional references for consideration
  • Mandatory orientation of 10 hours added to the contract for those without recent Epic experience
  • Holiday coverage may be required based on the staffing needs
  • Return travelers must be identified for review
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
  • No block or schedule requests will be accommodated

    Requirements

    \n

  • Active TN or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
  • Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS must be in hand
  • Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months is required and must be clearly documented
  • Must pass an Epic competency exam
  • Male candidates must be clean-shaven to pass a fit test
