Accounting Team Member
Join a collaborative and high-performing Accounting team that plays a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization. We're a group of detail-oriented professionals who value accuracy, transparency, and continuous improvement. In this role, you'll contribute to the team by managing General Ledger activities and maintaining sub-ledger details across key asset and liability categories including cash, leases, prepaid assets, fixed assets, intangible assets, and accruals.
Responsibilities
- Maintain record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions.
- Maintain a record of company owned assets and ensure that all fixed and intangible assets are depreciated or amortized in an accurate and consistent manner.
- Perform and / or review reconciliations of sub-ledger data to the general ledger for various assets and liabilities.
- Process and / or review intercompany billings, lease receivables, and cash receipts.
- Book and / or review journal entries related to routine weekly duties, as well as monthly and quarterly close duties.
- Prepare and / or review audit schedules requested by both internal and external auditors and answer questions related thereto.
- Ensure lease accounting is consistent with ASC 842 standard.
- Special projects including impairment testing.
Skills You Will Need
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting and 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting.Strong Microsoft Excel skills.Fundamental understanding of accounting and U.S. GAAP.Ability to reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts.Basic knowledge of audit skills and Sarbanes Oxley compliance.Must be a team player, with ability to interact with multiple functions in the company, and be highly detail oriented.The following qualifications will be considered a plus :
CPA certification.Experience with SAP ERP, Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) and Business Explorer.Experience with ASC 842.Experience with fixed asset accounting.Experience with international subsidiaries, intercompany transactions and foreign currency.Previous Big 4 experience.Benefits & Perks

Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location where work will be performed and applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus, equity package and a comprehensive benefits package.
