Job Details
Reporting To: The Cleaning/Processing Manager
Essential Job Functions:
- Main tasks will include counting, sorting, and cleaning parts
- Processing and cleaning parts
- Work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to change tasks according to prioritized jobs
- Work with sheet metal and operate machinery
- Work with supervisors to ensure priority jobs are scheduled.
- Meet daily with the managers on efficiency and fill out efficiency data reports.
- Update the GEMBA board daily.
- Allocate jobs and equipment based on production needs.
- Other job duties may be added as required.
- Lead dept employees and follow-up their work progress
Physical Requirements:
- Warehouse environment where temperature ranges based on seasonal weather
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, pull, and push with hands and arms, reach overhead, and talk or hear
- Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb or balance
- Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 50 lbs.
- Occasionally required to sit
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, etc.
