📍 Position : ICU RN – Neuro Focus\n📅 Shift : 3x12-Hour Nights (19 : 00–07 : 30)\n🚨 Auto Offer : Yes — for fully qualified candidates only\n🕒 Contract : 36 hours / week OR optional 48 hours / week (OT billed after 48 on 4x12s)\n\nOutdoor enthusiast's dream : 20+ waterways and numerous hiking trails\n\nVoted one of the most scenic and accessible areas in the region\n\n🔒 Must-Have Qualifications (Strict Requirements) : \nActive VA or Compact RN license at time of submission – no exceptions\n\nBLS & ACLS – American Heart Association only\n\nNIHSS certification\n\nEPIC Proficiency – required\n\nStrong Neuro ICU Experience – post-neurosurgical, EVD, stroke care\n\nClean license and background – no exceptions (Chesapeake will not consider candidates with any license or background issues)\n\nMust be willing to float to Stepdown, ED, or Med / Surg to care for ICU-level patients\n\n🩺 Skills Required : \nVentilator management\n\nIV drip titration\n\nTelemetry monitoring\n\nConscious sedation\n\nDysrhythmia recognition & emergency management\n\nNeuro : Post-stroke, post-neurosurgical, EVD\n\nICU Ratios : 1 : 2–3\n\n🧠 Preferred : \n3 years Critical Care experience\n\nPrevious travel experience\n\n⛔ Local Candidate Policy : \nNo RNs will be considered if they live within 50 miles of the facility\n\nDriver’s License required to verify home address before offer\n\n📄 Submission Requirements : \nQualivis Submission Form\n\nCurrent NURSYS report\n\nDriver’s License (for locals)\n\n🏥 Patient Population Includes : \nNeuro : Stroke, post- neurosurgical\n\nRespiratory & renal failure\n\nSepsis, MODS, trauma\n\nPost-op & cardiac cath recovery
