Retail Operations Advocate
The Retail Operations Advocate will assume, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities :
- Subject matter expert of established Credit Union operational policies.
- Primary liaison for all inquiries related to Branch or Contact Center operations.
- Assists in the implementation of projects and programs aimed at enhancing Retail Operations, including release testing and the introduction of new processes to Branches and Contact Centers.
- Maintains current knowledge of the operational aspects of the IRA portfolio and ensures regulatory compliance.
- The individual examines IRA account documents from different branches and departments, determines the required transaction or action, and approves or completes transactions as necessary.
- Coordinates decedent account processing ensuring appropriate paperwork is accurately prepared ensuring the credit union's fiduciary responsibilities are upheld.
- Recommends policies, procedures, and guidelines changes to keep within our core purpose.
The successful candidate will possess the following education, knowledge, and skillsets :
High school diploma, GED or equivalentMinimum three to five years relevant work experience in a financial institution.Extensive knowledge of Federal and State Banking regulations.Knowledge of Credit Union and Financial Services industry preferred.Detail oriented and accurate.Personal computer and basic math skills.Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.We provide competitive compensation and benefits package that includes :
