LSSE Civil Engineers and Surveyors is looking for an Environmental Technician to join our team. We are a 180+ person civil engineering and surveying consulting firm with over 10 locations primarily located in western Pennsylvania. LSSE’s projects support public infrastructure and community development. Our clients include local boroughs and townships, water and sewer authorities, industrial and residential land developers, and utility companies.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or related field preferred
- 0-2+ years relevant experience including field investigations, condition studies on municipal infrastructure, particularly sewage collection, storm water, and water, flow monitoring
- Experience with use / maintenance of flow meters, manhole and culvert entries, manhole physical surveys, infiltration testing, dye testing, and GPS
- Ability to work in the field in all conditions (position will be 95% field based)
- Must be comfortable and willing to be in small, confined spaces
- Confined space entry training a plus
- NAASCO certifications (manhole and pipeline assessments) a plus
