Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,300 per week in Saint Louis, MO

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Telemetry Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : Minimum of 2 years experience required License : Valid state nursing license required Certifications : BCLS and NIH required; ACLS and CPI preferred Must-Have : - Telemetry experience - Reading rhythms - Cardiac medications and drips (no titration) - No artificial or nail enhancements - No crocs with holes - Must wear blue uniform - Must work weekends and holidays Description : This position involves working in a telemetry unit during night shifts. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients with cardiac conditions. Patient ratios are 1 : 5-6. A strong understanding of cardiac medications and telemetry is required. The nurse will manage cardiac drips without titration. Collaborative work with interdisciplinary teams will be necessary. Candidates should have experience in blood product administration, central line care, and monitoring of chest tubes. A deep understanding of dysrhythmias and their management is essential. This role includes responsibilities for post-procedure care for cardiac patients. All staff will float within the facility as needed. References are required.
