Financial Accountant - 8 hrs / day (Fiscal Services / PC#250620)

Position Summary :

Develops, prepares, and participates in maintaining a complete set of financial records. Participates in and may oversee processing complex accounting transactions, preparing adjustments to sub-ledgers and ledgers, and oversees and performs reconciliation, reporting, and auditing of general ledger financial information. Prepares accurate and timely financial and statistical reporting from District-wide and program-based accounting systems.

Employee Type : Full-Time

Salary : $34.10 - $45.08 per hour in 9 annual steps. Salary placement is based on experience.

Location : Fiscal Services

Hours : 8 hours / day; 5 days / week

Benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision, and Employee Life Insurance available for employees who work 4+ hours per day (Full district contribution for 6+ hours / day; 50% contribution for 4-5.99 hours / day).

Education and Experience :

The position typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or accounting and two years experience in a responsible accounting / auditing capacity.

Licenses and Certifications :

May require a valid driver’s license.
