Position Summary :

The Sales Executive is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer experiences while driving business growth for NexGen. This hands-on role involves direct sales, account management, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and project success. You will develop and expand our customer base through your professional network, strategic outreach, and company-directed sales initiatives.

What Youll Do :

  • Serve as the front-line contact for key customers and field their inquiries and requests for NexGens commercial services
  • Strive to meet annual revenue goals of NexGen through sales efforts
  • Diligently communicate with contacts to increase sales while assisting the operations staff to ensure timely fabrication of work
  • Maintain client database with best practices in data management
  • Support and provide training / troubleshooting for The Scalo Companies sheet metal operations using internal and external resources
  • Be a proficient user of the Scalo Companys proprietary enterprise system, MasterKey
  • Attend weekly sales meetings
  • Submit all weekly reports and daily CRM activity using Follow Up Power software
  • Work closely with several layers of management and ownership at the Scalo Companies who will help you toward your success
  • Create an individual book of business through existing sales representative and architecture network contacts and by cold calling, networking, prospecting, and use of company sales initiatives
  • Attain and retain new commercial clients for NexGen
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

What Were Looking For :

  • A minimum of two years of proven sales and customer service experience
  • Associates degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school preferred (business or a related field); Highschool diploma / GED required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and ability learn customer service management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all types of customers, vendors, and employees
  • Knowledge of construction, building enclosures, or architectural metals.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and bid documents
  • Ability to work both with a team and unsupervised
  • Physically able to perform essential job functions including accessing construction sites which may include heights, sitting for extended periods of time, bending, light lifting, speaking, writing, and concentrating on detail-oriented and computer-related work
  • Salary : $85,000 $95,000 per year
