Job description

General Responsibilities :

  • Receive and process incoming shipments
  • Verify contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment
  • Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in warehouse
  • Prepare products for shipping, including labeling and packaging
  • Operate forklift or other heavy equipment to move and store materials
  • Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized
  • Utilize RF scanner to track inventory and locate items within the warehouse

General Requirements :

  • Previous experience in shipping / receiving or warehouse operations preferred
  • Ability to operate a forklift or other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
  • Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
  • Proficient in using an RF scanner for inventory management
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
