JOB OVERVIEW

Codaray Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Ridgeland, MS .

The Senior Project Managers primary responsibility is profit / loss on any one assigned project, or several smaller projects. The Senior Project Manager manages all phases of the project, from preconstruction through close out, and the sustainable growth of the company through our vision, mission, and values. This role coordinates activities with the Vice President and assigned staff in Preconstruction, Business Development and Human Resources as required in the execution of assigned projects.

The Senior Project Manager is accountable to the Vice President for successful execution of assigned projects, as well as the development and behavior of all project staff. Ensures compliance with applicable laws, contract requirements, quality standards, loss control policy and accomplishes quantitative and qualitative goals and objectives as set forth in the individual project plans.

The Senior Project Manager has authority to commit to matters of cost and schedule, in accordance with guidelines, while serving as the Companys daily point of contact with the Owner on assigned projects. In conjunction with the Vice President, makes recommendations to approve, recruit, hire, promote, transfer, or terminate Operations personnel.

The Senior Project Manager performs all essential functions and responsibilities in conjunction with the companys values and beliefs and in alignment with Codarays policies so that the clients full satisfaction and Codarays expected levels of safety, quality and profitability are obtained.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must exhibit Codaray Constructions Core Values (Integrity, Passion, Unity, Sustainability, Humility)
  • Bachelors degree in construction / engineering or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience required
  • Minimum of ten (10) years construction experience with seven (7) years in leadership role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Efficiency in Microsoft Office and other construction software utilized by the company
  • Ability to interpret construction documents
  • Self-motivated and ability to adapt to assigned tasks
  • Ability to lead and evaluate craft performance
  • Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, engineering drawings and other documents

  • Driving to meetings and job sites
  • Working on jobsites - climbing stairs, ladders, etc.
  • 20 / 20 vision (with or without correction); climbing stairs; talking; hearing (with or without aid); and typing / computer entry.
  • DRIVER LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

    Current valid drivers license. Favorable driving record required for company vehicle or auto allowance.
