About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with a background in Anesthesiology for a locum tenens assignment in Illinois. This 12-week opportunity begins on Nov 3, 2025, and features day shifts from 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm, managing 5-7 surgical cases daily. The assignment is ideal for CRNAs skilled in a variety of anesthesia procedures, looking to contribute to high-quality patient care in a dynamic surgical environment.

  • Schedule : 7 : 00 am – 3 : 30 pm; estimated 4 shifts per month

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage 5-7 surgical cases per day
  • Provide anesthesia care, including intubation, spinal anesthesia, and Bier block
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures
  • Collaborate closely with the surgical and perioperative teams
  • Adhere to best practices and facility protocols
  • Additional Information

  • Active Illinois RN and CRNA license required
  • Must have ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology
  • DEA and CSR licenses required
  • Minimum of 1 year CRNA experience in surgical settings
