Electrical Engineer
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for :
- Leading electrical design efforts for new products and supporting improvements to existing ones.
- Collaborating with Product Management, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to resolve issues and meet project objectives.
- Developing and maintaining product performance data, including characteristic curves.
- Participating in special engineering projects, process development, and documentation.
- Representing the company on industry panels (e.g., NEMA, IEEE, NEC) as needed.
- Providing engineering support across multiple locations when required.
A successful Electrical Engineer should have the following qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.Familiarity with circuit protection, power generation / distribution systems, and power electronics.Experience with electrical and thermal simulation tools.Knowledge of NEC / CEC standards and low / medium voltage system design.Proficiency in SKM or similar software for load calculations and coordination studies.Hands-on, creative problem-solver with project management experience.Comfortable working in lab environments (high / low voltage, environmental testing).Understanding of safety standards (UL, CSA, IEC, IEEE, ANSI, NEC).What's on offer :
