Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in State College, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline : RN Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab / Electrophysiology (EP) Location : State College, PA Assignment Length : 14 Weeks Shift : 4x10-Hour Day Shifts || Weekly Pay : $2,986 Job Type : Contract Key Responsibilities : Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and EP procedures. Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac and electrophysiology studies. Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data and ECG tracings during procedures. Administer medications as ordered and monitor for effects and reactions. Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols. Provide post-procedure care and education to patients and families. Respond promptly to on-call duties, ensuring a 30-minute response time. Document all patient interactions and procedural details accurately in Meditech EMR . Collaborate closely with cardiologists, technologists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes. Requirements : Education & Licensure : Active Pennsylvania RN License (must be current and in good standing). BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required. Experience : Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab and EP Lab experience required. Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
