The St. Luke’s Physician provides medical services in the general care and treatment of patients in both practice and hospital settings. Physician provides comprehensive medical services for patients on a continuing basis. Physician will provide high quality, cost effective medical care. This individual will also participate in quality, patient satisfaction and performance improvement initiatives.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Physical and Sensory Requirements
Sitting for up to three (3) hours per day; standing for up to eight (8) hours per day; walking for up to six (6) hours per day. Frequent fingering, handling, grasping, twisting, and turning as it relates to therapeutic procedures. Consistently lift, carry, and push objects up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift, carry, and push up to 75 pounds; rarely with assistance up to 100 pounds. Rarely push and pull patients weighing up to 300 pounds in a wheelchair or stretcher. Occasionally stooping and bending. Must be able to perceive attributes of an object through touch. Vision and hearing normal.
Education
Graduate of an accredited medical school and completion of residency and / or fellowship in area of specialty.
Training and Experience
Current or recent experience in area of specialty.
License and Certifications
MD or DO - licensed by the state licensure board within the State of practice. Board Certified / Eligible in the area of specialty by the appropriate medical board.
