Location : Salinas, Monterey County, CA. (Local Candidates Preferred)

Employment Type : Full-time, on-site

Base salary : $120,000 – $160,000 DOE

About the Role :

MyGreat Recruitment is hiring a Superintendent on behalf of our client for an on-site healthcare project in Salinas. You’ll lead all field operations from mobilization through closeout—owning safety, schedule, quality, and coordination with subs, inspectors, and project stakeholders. The work is in active, HCAI-occupied facilities (formerly OSHPD), so experience in Healthcare (live healthcare preferred) environments is essential.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate and supervise all field construction activities and self-perform crews.
• Build and maintain a weekly look-ahead; co-create and update the master schedule.
• Plan sequencing, logistics, and site setup to hit milestones and budgets.
• Drive productivity, track production goals, and resolve constraints proactively.
• Order materials / equipment and schedule inspections.
• Lead safety on site—identify hazards, enforce policy, and complete required training.
• Maintain strong relationships with owners’ reps, design teams, AHJs, and trade partners.
• Ensure a clean, organized, compliant jobsite at all times.
