Position Profile : Weaver is looking for a Commercial Tax Senior Manager to join our growing firm. A Commercial Tax Senior Manager provides federal tax compliance and consulting services to large middle market and public companies. A Tax Senior Manager works closely with firm leadership and plays a key role in business development, firm administration activities, and development / management of teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide federal tax compliance and consulting services to large middle market and public companies.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership and contribute to business development efforts.
  • Engage in firm administration activities and mentor / lead project teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Master’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • CPA with 7+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning and consulting at a public accounting firm, focusing on consolidated corporations, multi-state businesses, private equity backed clients, large businesses and partnerships
  • Technical knowledge to sell and execute engagements across industries, with focus in Manufacturing & Distribution, Technology, HealthCare, Professional Services, and / or Construction
  • Proven ability to build, manage and develop staff
  • Strong relationship management and practice development skills
  • Passionate client service
  • Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients
  • Compensation and Benefits

    Weaver’s compensation range for this position is $141,000 to $290,000 in the California, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York Metropolitan areas. Actual compensation will be based on experience, skills, certifications, and location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan. We offer flexible scheduled time off (STO), a minimum of 56 hours of sick and safe leave, 11 holidays, and 2 recharge days. We also provide in-house CPE and Learning & Development opportunities.
