Job Summary
As a Nursing Assistant (NA) , you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to our residents during your scheduled shifts. Your responsibilities will include :
Delivering resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).Understanding and addressing the physical and psychological needs of residents as outlined in their care plans.Assisting with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and obtaining vital signs.Supporting residents in transferring, repositioning, and walking using appropriate techniques.Creating a positive dining experience by assisting with meals and snacks.Documenting resident interactions and communicating any changes in their condition to the charge nurse.Participating in wellness and recreational programs to encourage resident engagement.Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is a plus.Completion of yearly department-specific competency testing and maintenance of continuing education credits (minimum of 12 hours annually).Certification and registration with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry, if applicable.Possession of a valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle report may be required for certain responsibilities.Benefits
