Radiology Film Librarian

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Radiology Film Librarian provides clerical support for the File Room Manager and assists with various departmental responsibilities. This position assists with all clerical and/or file librarian related activities including record maintenance and filing.



This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.



QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years file room experience preferred. Computer skills as well as interpersonal abilities and organizational skill required. Medical record experience and medical terminology preferred. Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire.
