Project Manager - 12-Month Contract

Location : White Plains, NY (Hybrid - Minimum 3 days onsite)

Duration : 12 months

Employment Type : W2 Contract via Staffing Agency

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and manage the initiation and planning phases of new major projects and programs. This role involves developing proposals, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring successful project launch while maintaining alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Proposal Development : Lead and manage the development of proposals for new major projects and programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic objectives
• Phase Management : Coordinate and oversee Phase 1 (Initiation) and Phase 2 (Planning) activities, including feasibility studies, project scoping, and resource planning
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with project sponsors to understand requirements, objectives, and constraints while facilitating communication among cross-functional teams
• Documentation Management : Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation including project charters, business cases, and detailed project plans
• Cross-Functional Coordination : Facilitate collaboration among engineering, finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables
• Risk Management : Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or success
• Executive Reporting : Prepare and present project proposals, status updates, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders
• Compliance Oversight : Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices throughout the proposal development process
• Progress Tracking : Monitor and report on project progress, including key milestones, deliverables, and budget status
