The Pick-up & Delivery Merchandising Associate plays a key role in the donation logistics process by ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of donated goods. This role involves providing exceptional customer service to donors and clients, maintaining communication with dispatch, and supporting in-store merchandising. You will represent the agency positively while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and organization at every step of the process. This position is essential to supporting the Crisis Center for South Suburbia's operations and community impact.

Job Description

The Pick-up & Delivery Merchandising Associate will be responsible for the following tasks :

• Donation Pick-Up Duties :

Pick up donated household items from residential or commercial locations as directed by dispatch.

Deliver donations to pre-approved locations in line with the daily route plan.

Cooperate with other team members, including employees, supervisors, volunteers, and clients, at all times.

This is a part-time role, working on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8 : 30 AM to 2 : 30 PM.

Location

This position is based at the Crisis Center for South Suburbias facilities in Tinley Park. The location provides easy access to public transportation and major expressways, making commuting efficient and convenient.
