About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of People to establish and lead the recruiting and HR functions that will support the organization's growth. This pivotal role involves designing and implementing a scalable people infrastructure, from talent acquisition to HR operations, with a focus on creating and nurturing a high-performance, sustainable culture. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the people and talent lifecycle, including leading and managing recruiting and HR operations, overseeing junior recruiters and external agencies, and designing a comprehensive total rewards framework. A key aspect of the role is to reduce the time spent by hiring managers on these operations through the development of scalable processes and automation.
The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years' experience in talent acquisition and HR, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within a high-growth startup environment. They should have a proven track record in scaling recruiting and HR systems, experience in hiring across various levels, and a strong understanding of HR compliance, payroll, benefits, and people operations. The role requires a data-driven approach to improve key people and talent metrics, as well as a builder mentality, strategic yet scrappy attitude, and a high sense of urgency to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. The Head of People will also be a champion of the company's culture, ensuring that values, accountability, and a sense of connection are reinforced as the team expands.
