The Senior Wealth Advisor SAFE Act is a seasoned professional role requiring in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to new techniques and improving processes. It integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area, evaluating moderate and complex issues with significant impact, requiring analytical skills, strong communication, and informal / formal leadership. The role involves coaching, training, and influencing decisions through advice and facilitation.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with new clients to bring in new bank and brokerage assets.
- Deepen relationships with existing clients in PWM and Retail bank through financial planning and discovery and profiling skills.
- Respond to referrals and introductions from business partners, recommending the best offering based on client profiling and suitability assessments.
- Make securities recommendations and provide investment advice using firm models & research.
- Master referral opportunities to grow portfolio.
- Refer opportunities to segment partners when appropriate.
- Convert referral leads into new clients.
- Manage client follow‑up and adhere to all regulatory and compliance procedures.
- Ensure strict adherence to KYC / AML and other compliance norms.
- Partner with branch team to provide a positive in‑branch experience.
- Assess risk in business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup and its clients, driving compliance with laws, rules, and regulations, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating control issues with transparency.
Qualifications
5‑8 years of experience.Experience in a proactive, successful sales and service role in the financial services industry.Strong analytical and financial skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Organized with strong attention to detail.Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and experience in financial planning software preferred.Basic understanding of investment and financial planning strategies preferred.Must be a self‑starter, problem solver, and goal‑oriented team player able to work without direction.Securities Industry Essentials – SIE; active Series 7, 66 (or 63 and 65) licenses.Group 1 insurance.Requirement to register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry and maintain that registration annually.Education
Bachelor’s / University degree or equivalent experience.Location : Miami, Florida, United States – Full time.
Salary range : $70 000.00 – $70 000.00 (base). Additional incentive and retention awards may apply.
