Sanderson Ford is seeking skilled Diesel Service Technicians to support our growing service operations. This role focuses on diagnosing repairing and maintaining medium- and heavy-duty diesel vehicles in a fast-moving team-oriented environment. Candidates who are motivated mechanically inclined and eager to advance their technical knowledge will thrive here.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic work maintenance and repairs on medium- and heavy-duty diesel vehicles

Review repair orders inspect vehicles and determine necessary work procedures

Follow established checklists to ensure essential components and safety items are inspected

Adjust repair or replace parts including protective guards safety devices and related components

Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and overall performance

Properly tag and process warranty parts

Stay current with Ford training technical bulletins and service updates

Communicate professionally with customers and teammates to support a positive service experience

Complete all repairs according to safety standards OEM guidelines and dealership procedures

Maintain a clean organized service bay

Protect customer property and ensure vehicles are returned in clean condition

Support production goals and maintain consistent service quality

Perform additional duties as assigned by Service Management

Qualifications

Diesel technician experience or certification required

Prior dealership or fleet repair experience preferred; Ford experience is a plus

ASE certification is a plus

Must supply own tools

Strong work ethic and commitment to quality service

Team-focused attitude with strong communication skills

Self-motivated and able to work efficiently with minimal oversight
