Job Title : Education Program Manager

Provide management, coordination and supervision in the development and operation of the departments education programs. Oversee the management of service delivery process associated with programs administrated by the State Agency. Create new and maintain current relationships with education entities such as schools or aviation organizations to promote and grow the impact of the Flight Academy. Provide supplemental material to the educational landscape of South Carolina to support math, science, CTE, history and ELA educators. The job duties of this position include but are not limited to the following :

• Supervises staff to include preparing performance planning and evaluation documents and related personnel paperwork. Coaches, counsels and trains employees. Establishes and monitors work processes. Implements management policies and initiatives and promotes teamwork.
• To oversee the operation, content, materials and staff of the Departments Flight Academy program.
• To oversee the operation and maintenance of Flight Academy assets. This includes all software and hardware associated with the operation of the flight. This position will work closely with the agencys IT department academy as well as the progress of any third-party vendor contractors.
• Create and maintain successful systems of customer service including reservations / booking, scheduling of on-site and off-site programming and scheduling of sufficient staff. Collecting, interpreting and making improvements based on customer feedback.

Bachelors degree in education or related field completed by date of hire. Experience in formal and informal education and / or instruction. Experience in program and project management and coordination. Supervisory experience. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS :
