We are pursuing an experienced working Maintenance Technician to work within a service team and provide all levels of residential maintenance for a class A property. The ideal candidate possesses 2 years of apartment maintenance experience, is willing to earn HVAC and CPO certifications, and possesses strong maintenance skills.

Summary of Role :

The Maintenance Technician provides ongoing facility maintenance and repairs for NewCastle properties. This position’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, fixing machinery, plumbing, HVAC and electrical work to ensure safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Completion of apartment work orders and apartment turnovers.
• Perform general carpentry work including wallboard repair, countertop / cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window / glass repair, door / lock repair, and ceramic tile repair.
• Maintain and repair appliances, plumbing, minor HVAC issues, and electrical work.
• Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of communal areas, property buildings, and pool maintenance.
• Complete preventative maintenance to ensure everything is in working order.
• Provide exceptional customer service to our clients.
• Monitors and organizes inventory and supplies.
• Pick up and deliver supplies as needed.
• Power washing and snow removal at the property as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Preferred Qualifications :  Training and / or experience working with HVAC, plumbing or electrical preferred.
