Overview
The Facility Technician (HVAC) performs maintenance, repairs and installation of assigned HVAC and Refrigeration equipment and controls, chilled water systems, boilers, and various other mechanical, electrical and building systems in accordance with client expectations and requests.
Pay : $30-32 / hr
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Basic Qualifications :
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent is required
- Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license
- 3+ years of relevant facilities maintenance or technical support experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency with standard maintenance equipment such as power tools, multimeters and plumbing snakes
- Familiarity with building management systems and maintenance tracking platforms
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive problem-solving approach with attention to detail
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation to San Francisco and Palo Alto locations
- Exposure to commercial kitchen equipment environments preferred
- Availability Monday-Friday, 1 : 00 PM - 9 : 00 PM with flexibility for occasional after-hours support
Responsibilities :
Technical Maintenance
Perform basic to intermediate plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and kitchen equipment repairs per client guidelinesExecute scheduled preventative maintenance tasks as directedConduct building inspections; report recurring facility issuesDocument completed work adhering to client guidelinesWorkspace Support
Configure event spaces per client specificationsReset conference rooms and collaborative areas dailyPerform minor furniture and workspace installations / repairsOperational Compliance
Coordinate task priorities through client dispatch protocolsMaintain tool / material inventory using vendor-approved systemsFollow safety regulations and PPE requirementsSystems Reporting
Submit repair recommendations through designated channelsFlag equipment degradation patterns for playbook updatesProvide automated status updates via client platformComplete other duties as assignedEntry-level HVAC technicians encouraged to apply.
