General Manager
Amerit Fleet Solutions is the leading Fleet Maintenance company in the U.S. We are seeking an experienced General Manager to join our growing team! The General Manager is the segment business unit executive leader for one of Amerit's national customers. Each segment at Amerit has an organization dedicated to a single customer providing an onsite customized and comprehensive fleet solution. The organization includes senior field managers, fleet managers, program managers, staff and technicians.
We are looking for an experienced Executive with excellent leadership and communication skills. Success will be based on uptime and readiness of the customers' assets, an outstanding safety and quality record, EHS compliance, data management, communication, problem solving as well as staffing and overall business performance.
The GM is accountable for all customer contract KPI & SLAs. These include but are not limited to fleet uptime, quality, safety, PM service, and other KPI data. Additionally, the GM will lead, in conjunction with the account management team, scaling operations based on the customer's needs.
Ideal candidates will have a strong and diverse background in fleet analysis, fleet management, fleet operations, and workshop management. Preferred fleet expertise in automotive, commercial trucks, trailers, ground support equipment and material handling equipment.
Candidates will be required to pass a background check.
Compensation : Competitive Salary Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! Salary $170,000-185,000 plus additional annual bonus incentive

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure consistent delivery of customer KPIs / SLAs, fleet uptime, customer experience, quality, safety & complianceResponsible for all operations and account management team membersResponsible for the program management fleet team that develop analytics, SOPs and long term sustainability goalsEnsuring we maintain exceptional customer satisfaction with all client contacts fostering a healthy business relationship in line with client expectationsFull P&L, budgeting and forecasting responsibility of the segmentAbility to build partnerships and manage suppliers and third-party service vendors in support of parts, repairs, warranty work or specialty workResponsible for the development of the operational talent pool by optimizing the skills of the existing team, in partnership with our internal EHS, safety and training departmentsHave a well-defined communication and engagement model in place to ensure all teams understand the performance of the businessThe continuous identification implementation of operational best practices through interaction with other segmentsExcellent leadership, people management, communication and influencing skills at an executive levelKey Competencies and Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree preferred. Ten or more years of relevant experience in managing large fleets and fleet maintenanceAnalytical expertise with program management systems relating to fleetProven experience in management for operations, planning, maintenance, and customer serviceTechnical experience to understand mechanical repairs, diagnosis, and parts inventorySystem and data skills to include Outlook, Excel, and PowerPointProven track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining highly effective talented team membersProven ability to lead cross-functional teams leveraging a project management frameworkStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with extensive business & financial acumenExcellent communication with strong written and verbal communication skillsA business focused way of thinking and a strong hands-on, results-driven mentality combined with a high desire to work strategicallyPassionate self-starter, decisive, able to partner with the customer and effect the desired outcomesWorking Conditions
Position will be on-site based in the Puget Sound (Seattle, Tacoma, Everett area of WA). Candidates should also be prepared to travel as required to ensure operations are running smoothly. Company cell phone, computer and credit card will be provided.
