Charger Care

Indy West Christian School is seeking a caring, dependable, mature Christian individual to join our Charger Care team. This role involves supervising students before and after school hours in a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment.

Professional Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work effectively with teachers, administration, parents, and students

Spiritual and Personal Qualifications:

• A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
• Agreement with and active support of the school's Statement of Faith and Lifestyle Statement
• Serves as a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and conduct
• Demonstrates spiritual maturity, integrity, and confidentiality
• Active membership in an evangelical church
• A clear calling to serve in Christian school ministry
• Ability to follow the Matthew 18 principle in handling conflict

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and interact with students in Charger Care
• Foster a safe, loving, and Christ-centered atmosphere
• Support a school climate conducive to learning
• Assist students with learning tasks as needed
• Serve as a godly role model
• Communicate regularly with the Charger Care Coordinator
• Maintain a positive attitude with students, parents, and staff
• Participate in assigned in-service programs
• Care for school property and maintain supplies
• Uphold confidentiality and follow the Matthew 18 Principle in relationships
• Perform other duties as assigned
