Position responsible for assisting the Administrator in overseeing all of the critical operational functions for program controls within the Division. This position is responsible for exercising engineering expertise, utility coordination, geographic information systems, and data archival processes while providing professional knowledge pertaining to the critical operational functions in the program controls section, along with other related work.

Position Responsibilities :

• Provides staff supervision and technical assistance in construction specification and plan interpretation, construction scheduling, planning, and construction materials.
• Responsible for the management, oversight, and control of data used to support decisions made for infrastructure improvements to the City of Indianapolis transportation and storm water assets.
• Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws, policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
• Keeps abreast of new scientific methods & developments affecting department and recommends changes in emphasis of new programs warranted; implements departmental policies and programs in the administration of contracts involving multiple complex projects.
• Assures accurate and timely updating of management information systems as they relate to the delivery of the program (i.e. CIP) and assures their business rules, policies and procedures are implemented, used and maintained as standard business practice in their designated work environments.
• Provides budgetary information to administrator
