LYFT Strength & Wellness (LoseYourselfFitness) is a boutique strength and performance gym built on coaching excellence, strong relationships, and long-term development — not quick fixes or crowded classes.
We specialize in small group training (up to 12), semi-private coaching (2–4), private training, and are proud to be a HYROX Training Club, offering dedicated hybrid and performance-based conditioning.
We’re looking for an experienced coach who brings both technical skill and great energy — someone who is confident, coachable, professional, and genuinely enjoyable to be around.
We’re looking for coaches who are technically competent, highly personable, and take pride in how they show up — not just what they know.
Who This Role Is For
This role is not for newly certified trainers.
We’re seeking a coach who:

- Is comfortable leading groups and individuals
- Understands strength & conditioning beyond templates
- Is coachable, curious, and open to learning
- Has a great personality, emotional intelligence, and sense of humor

We believe technical skills can be developed — character, empathy, and presence cannot.
What We’re Looking For
Required
- 2+ years of in-person coaching experience in a gym or training facility
(Applications without this will not be considered) - Nationally recognized certification
(NASM, ACE, CSCS, CHEK, or equivalent) - CPR & AED certified
- Strong understanding of:
- Strength training principles
- Movement patterns and regressions/progressions
- Group coaching dynamics
- Clear communication, high energy, and professional presence
- Ability to coach both athletes and everyday adults
- Able to commute within 20–25 minutes of Harrison, NY
- Availability for early mornings (5:30–9:00 AM) plus some evenings/weekends
Strongly Preferred
- Experience coaching HYROX-style, hybrid, or performance-based training
- Background in conditioning, endurance, or competitive fitness
- Interest in growing into semi-private or private coaching
What You’ll Do
- Coach:
- Small group strength & conditioning sessions
- Semi-private training (2–4 clients)
- HYROX-focused training classes
- Deliver high-quality coaching with:
- Clear cues
- Smart regressions and progressions
- Safety, intention, and attention to detail
- Adapt programming to meet members where they are
- Build real relationships and contribute to a positive, welcoming culture
- Support the overall member experience
- Assist with light facility responsibilities and day-to-day operations
- Show up prepared, engaged, and professional every session

Pay Structure
$35–$60 per hour
Pay is scaled based on:
- Coaching type (group, semi-private, private)
- Experience and role
