Description

Receive correspondence from external and internal customers which must be handled on a timely basis. Task will include RFQ's, technical assistance / support, factory support, technical product support, delivery expediting, facilitate customer application requirements for their product selection, sizing, and assembly, ensure that inside efforts are aligned with the production team, support JHC accounting department with problem invoices, returns, and general customer account information, understand and ensure that the JHC TCC (Total Customer Commitment) standards are upheld at all times, work closely with and support the JHC product principals when required to do so, attend and participate in required trainings, participate in the after hour and weekend 'On-Call' rotation, procure product and product information for customers, be a team player, and work well as a group, accurately complete quotes, order entry, and purchase orders, always build and cultivate solid relationships, this job is demanding in terms of knowledge skills, commitment, and all other job-related qualifications. Urgency and pressure for prompt, accurate results are routine. Multi-tasking and the ability to handle and manage interruptions is expected. Regular and predictable attendance is essential for this position.

Education

Required

Bachelors or better in Engineering or related field.

High School or better.

Preferred

Community College / Vo-Tech or better.

Experience

Required

Minimum 2+ years of Inside Sales experience. In the absence of a specific Control Valve or Valve Automation background, experience with other industrial instrumentation / equipment sold into the chemical, petro-chemical, refining and oil & gas industries will be considered. An understanding of Project Level sales processes is also preferred.

Preferred

Preferred in industrial equipment environment preferably Fisher Control Valves & Fisher Regulators.
