In this full-time role, you'll supervise all field activity from pre-job setup through completion, ensuring productivity, safety, and top-quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities
- Lead all on-site operations for large-scale commercial roofing projects
- Supervise, schedule, and coordinate foremen, field crews, and subcontractors
- Ensure roofing system installation (TPO, EPDM, PVC, Mod Bit, BUR) meets project specs and manufacturer guidelines
- Conduct pre-job planning, crew allocation, and jobsite setup
- Monitor daily production and provide weekly reporting to project managers
- Enforce OSHA and company safety standards through inspections and meetings
- Resolve jobsite issues to avoid delays and cost impacts
- Manage material and equipment logistics to keep projects on schedule
- Represent Vapor Armour professionally to clients, inspectors, and contractors
- Approve field documentation, timecards, and production reports
- Mentor foremen and promote career growth within your crews
Qualifications
Minimum 4+ years of commercial roofing experience, including 2+ years in a superintendent or senior supervisory roleExpertise in low-slope systems : TPO, EPDM, PVC, Mod Bit, BURExperience managing multiple crews and large projects simultaneouslyStrong working knowledge of OSHA standards and jobsite safetyProficiency in reading blueprints, specifications, and construction documentsTech-savvy : comfortable with project management software and digital reportingOutstanding leadership, organization, and communication skillsWillingness to travel for 2-3 week rotations; 100% travel requiredValid driver's license with clean recordMust possess or be able to obtain a valid REAL ID and passport for work-related travelPreferred Qualifications
OSHA 30 certification (required or must be obtained within 30 days)Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a strong plusExperience leading union and / or non-union crewsBackground working with general contractors on large-scale commercial projectsBenefits
