Job description

  • Prior experience with Ortho / Neuro / Spine

REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP :

Minimum Years of Experience : 2 Years Minimum Experience

Traveler Experience : Clinic WILL NOT Accept 1st Time Travelers

Locals Accepted / Rate Difference : Yes

  • Work Setting Skills Required : Adult Outpatient Clinic
  • Clinic Specialties Skills : Neurology, Orthopedics & Surgery
  • Vital Signs Skills Required : Blood Pressure, Respirations, Temperature, Pulse
  • Prepare for Exam Skills Required : Record History / Medications / Allergies
  • Specimen Collection Skills Required : Venipuncture
  • Professional Knowledge and Skills Required : Administration of Medications, Follow up phone calls & Rooming Patients

    • Certs : BLS, CMA or RMA

    PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP :

  • Vital Signs Skills : 12 Lead ECG
  • Office Duties : Telephone Triage

    • JOB DETAILS :

    RATIOS : 60 Visits / Day

    SHIFT :

  • 40 Hours Can Be Offered

    • Will Accept 13 Weeks!

    8 HOUR DAYS; 08 : 00 - 17 : 00; Monday - Friday

    Call Requirement : NONE

    Float Requirement : NONE

    Weekend Requirement : NONE

    PATIENT DIAGNOSES : Spine, Neuro, Ortho

    SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS : Epidural Steroidal Injections, Radio Frequency Ablations, Plasma Rich Protein Injections

    SPECIAL EQUIPMENT : The Clinic is having difficulty securing a clinical data import prior to go live, so they are prepping for manual chart abstraction.

  • It would be rock star if the travelers not only had experience in EPIC (REQUIRED) but also had a familiarity with NextGen, so when the surgeons are in the OR, the Medical Assistants would be able to assist with pulling Op Notes and other data from NextGen and abstracting / importing into EPIC MyChart

    • UNIT SYSTEMS : EPIC REQUIRED, NextGen Strongly Preferred

    SCHEDULING TYPE : Per the Clinic Needs
