JOB SUMMARY :
This position is responsible for the life cycle recruitment process for nursing positions. This includes sourcing, screening, and presenting for hiring qualified nursing professionals across various specialties and locations. Acts as a consultative partner to nursing leadership, this role ensures the organization attracts, engages, and hires top-tier nursing talent in alignment with workforce planning and business goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Collaborate with nursing leaders to understand hiring needs, forecast workforce demands, and develop customized recruitment strategies.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies for nursing roles.
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, and direct outreach.
- Conduct initial phone, video, or in-person screenings to assess candidates fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers or members of the nursing management team.
- Assist with salary negotiations and discussing terms of employment, including benefits and advancement opportunities.
- Ensure high-quality, timely, and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Collaborate with HR and onboarding teams to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from requisition to offer acceptance for nursing roles and initial on-boarding.
- Align recruitment strategies with organizational goals, hiring initiatives, and talent pipeline development.
- Promote the organization’s employer brand in the nursing space through targeted campaigns, job fairs, schools of nursing, and digital outreach.
- Maintain candidate pipelines for high-demand nursing specialties.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and healthcare-specific hiring regulations, credentialing, and internal policies.
- Foster strategic partnerships with nursing schools and healthcare organizations to source potential applicants.
- Leverage data and analytics to track hiring metrics, identify areas for improvement, and report to stakeholders.
- Performs other related projects and duties as directed by manager or designee.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education :
Associate degree preferred or three years or greater of relevant experience in lieu of a college degree.Experience :
Strong interpersonal and organizational skillsIn-depth understanding of healthcare and the range of nursing specialtiesKeen attention to detail for screening applications, licensing, skills and educationKnowledge of laws and regulations related to hiring and employmentTwo+ years of experience as a healthcare recruiter, nurse recruiting preferredCertification or Licenses :
Must possess a valid motor vehicle driver’s license, maintain the minimum auto insurance coverage required by the Company, and successfully pass the Company’s Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check.”Certification in Talent Acquisition or Healthcare Recruitment preferred (e.g. : Certified Health Care Recruiter (CHCR); National Association for Health Care Recruitment (NAHCR) )Skill and Competencies :
Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to communicate in a consultative manner.Strong Microsoft software program (Word, Excel, PPT) knowledge and keyboarding skills, familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.Proficiency in using auditing tools, software, and data management systems.Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.What we offer :
