The WSFN Coordinator will provide information, support, resources, and advocacy for fathers and other male identifying caregivers of family members with disabilities and special health care needs across Washington State. This is accomplished through establishing and providing support to existing local fathers’ programs, online and virtual support, trainings and events. This position may work remotely within Washington State and / or at our main location in Lake Stevens, WA

The coordinator must have firsthand knowledge of the challenges faced by families navigating community resources and services, as well as lived experience as a parent or primary caregiver. We especially welcome applications from caregivers who have traditionally been underrepresented in family support roles, including fathers and male-identifying parents. Experience in collaboration, facilitation, and / or counseling is a plus. The position requires a high level of confidentiality, empathy, verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently. Appropriate training and support will be provided. We seek those with a passion to support families and ensure every individual has the opportunity to participate fully in their communities.
