Job descriptionActive California license BLS / ACLS certification Minimum 1 year of experience Provide direct patient care services in accordance with legal, ethical, and institutional standards. Administer medications as prescribed; by mouth, intravenously, intradermally, subcutaneously, or intramuscularly. Perform history and physicals. Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services for inmates. Take medical histories, examine patients, and order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records. Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality. Perform duties within scope of licensure. Additional duties as assigned by facility.
Adelphi is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to provide services at a facility in Victorville, California. The ideal candidate will assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement care plans, and maintain medical records.
