Entry-level Maintenance Mechanic

A growing, family-owned metal manufacturer in Mounds View, MN is looking to add an Entry-level Maintenance Mechanic to its maintenance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined and eager to learn industrial maintenance in a hands-on, supportive environment.

Location: Mounds View, MN

Pay: $20–$25 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM

• Friday: 4 hour shift

• Assist with maintenance and repairs on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems

• Help troubleshoot equipment issues with guidance from senior mechanics

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance

• Support installation and upgrades of machinery

• Keep basic maintenance records

• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures

• Work closely with production and maintenance teams

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

• Experience in industrial maintenance is a plus

• 1 year of maintenance experience or technical/vocational schooling

• Basic hand and power tool knowledge

• MIG welding experience is a plus, but not required
