Job Responsibilities : Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist :

• Conduct Evaluations : Perform comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients. Develop Individualized Treatment Plans : Create and implement tailored therapy plans based on each child’s unique needs, targeting speech, language, cognitive-communication, and feeding / swallowing issues.
• Provide Direct Therapy : Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy through individual or group sessions, using play-based and child-centered approaches.
• Monitor Progress : Track and document patient progress through ongoing assessment, adjusting therapy goals and strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams : Work closely with pediatricians, occupational therapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Support Family Education : Educate and coach parents and caregivers on strategies and exercises to reinforce therapy goals at home.
• Document Clinical Notes : Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment plans, session notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
