Welder Fabricator

C & H Excavation is seeking a Welder to become part of our team that is focused on the expansion of our company as well as the growth of our employees.

Job description:

Experience in fabricating and welding structural steel from drawings. Welding work will consist largely of gravel pit maintenance, fixing crusher, conveyors etc.

Welding test must be performed in person at C&H headquarters, 045 GMAW Structural test.

Skills:

Must be proficient in the use and/or operation of the following tools: welders, grinders, bevellers, air arc, torches, measuring tapes, steel square, and any other commonly used fabrication and layout tools.

Must have a valid driver's license.

SMAW 5+ years' experience

GMAW 5+ years' experience

GTAW experience a plus

High level of organization.

Self-Motivated

Ability to multitask and prioritize is a must.

Ability to work as a team to accomplish day to day tasks.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs to a height of 3-4 feet, to move or load material.

Must be able remain stationary, standing for extended periods of time.

May be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as required for positioning.

May be required to ascend/descend, or work atop a ladder.

Repetitive motion may be required.

Must be able to work in extreme temperatures, hot or cold, during inclement weather, and while exposed to the elements.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour DOE

Colorado: Reliably commute or planning to relocate to Ault, CO before starting work (Required)
