We are seeking students to join us for an eight week internship that will give a preview of the day to day responsibilities that come with being a full-time tax associate at Apercen Partners LLC.

Responsibilities

• Prepare & review individual, partnership, flow-through entity, fiduciary, gift, and other various tax returns for clients
• Prepare tax work papers, extensions, estimates, and tax advice for clients
• Research and analyze issues in connection with the preparation, review, and delivery of tax returns and written tax advice. Ability to interface with appropriate tax agencies
• Assist in developing solutions to complex tax consulting issues through research, use of advanced technology and deliberation with other team members
• Perform all aspects of engagement tasks assigned under oversight of senior staff
• Maintain firm privacy and confidentiality standards for all client matters

Qualifications

Apercen is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role for those assigned and / or hired to work in for New York City Metro Area, Colorado, Washington State, and California. The pay range for all localities is $37 - $39 / hour. Individual pay rates within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, certifications, skills and geography.
