Position Summary :
The Lift Truck Operator is responsible for safely operating electric-powered forklifts or towmotors to move stack and transport materials parts and equipment throughout the warehouse storage areas and plant. This role supports production operations by ensuring materials are available where and when needed.
Pay Rate : $21.91
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate forklift / tow motor by using levers and pedals to control movement.
- Position forks or lifting devices under pallets skids or containers to transport materials.
- Load unload and stack materials in designated areas.
- Load and unload steel coils from delivery trucks.
- Verify packing lists against purchase orders.
- Receive and document all incoming materials via packing slips.
- Keep supervisors and inspectors informed of in-process quantities.
- Inventory materials on the shop floor and distribute to workstations as needed.
- Weigh materials or products and record relevant data.
- Recharge forklift batteries as required.
- Perform other customer- or product-driven duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent required.6 months to 1 year of forklift / tow motor operation experience.In-plant forklift license required (based on state requirements).Forklift / tow motor operation and basic material handling procedures.Experience with Direct Data Link systems or warehouse inventory technology.Physical Requirements :
