Murrey's Disposal, aWaste Connectionscompany, is actively hiring aDiesel MechanicinFife, Washington.

This is a full-time opportunity to work on a modern fleet of garbage trucks in a stable, safety-focused environment. If you're an experienced diesel technician or heavy truck mechanic looking for a long-term career with great pay and benefits, apply today!

Pay & Schedule

  • Hourly Pay : $35.00 - $36.00 +$1.50 / hr shift differential
  • Schedule : Monday - Friday, 2 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Performpreventive maintenanceandrepairson diesel trucks andheavy equipment.
  • Diagnose and repairelectrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems.
  • Usevehiclediagnostic toolsto identify and resolve mechanical issues.
  • Conductsafety inspectionsand ensure compliance withOSHAstandards.
  • Maintain accurate records usingfleet maintenance software.
  • Address issues fromDriverVehicle InspectionReports (DVIRs).
  • Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

    • Qualifications

  • 1+ yearofdiesel mechanicorheavy truck repairexperience, or completion of a vocational-technical program.
  • CDLpreferred(or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
  • Must havepersonal tools.
  • Strong diagnostic andtroubleshootingskills.
  • Ability to read and interprettechnical manualsand servicedocumentation.
  • Weldingexperienceis a plus!
