Outside Sales Manager- Metal Industry (Sales)

We're looking for an Outside Sales Manager who thrives on connecting with right-fit customers in need of a trusted partner for vacuum heat-treating and brazing services. This role includes travel, and we provide a company car, credit card, and phone to support your success.
What you'll do
- Establish new relationships with prospects who will benefit from a partnership with us.
- Build relationships and pitch our services to prospects and customers in the metal industry, with a focus on aerospace, medical, and power generation sectors.
- Visit multiple prospects and customers daily to develop relationships and present our services.
- Call and follow up with a high volume of prospects and inbound leads.
- Plan weekly travel schedules and coordinate flights and hotels as needed.
- Utilize HubSpot to maintain accurate records of prospecting and customer activities.
- Provide daily reports to the Director of Sales on activities.
- Network and participate in trade shows and conferences throughout the territory.
What you need to thrive in this role
Heat treating and / or metal service center sales background with connections to and relationships with machine and metal fabrication shops throughout MI, WI, and IN.Comfortable with some overnight travel.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.General knowledge of materials preferred.Results-oriented, motivated, and able to work independently.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.About us
