Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position

Location :  Las Cruces, NM

Job Type : Travel Contract

Duration :  13 weeks

Shift :  3x12s Days

Pay : $1995 / week

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Med Surg / Telemetry RN to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing direct patient care, monitoring telemetry, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and experienced in managing a variety of medical-surgical cases in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions.

Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and vital signs, responding promptly to changes in patient status.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital standards and regulations.

Support unit operations by floating to other medical-surgical units as needed.

Qualifications :

Required Certifications :  ACLS, BLS, HWC, NIH

Years of Experience :  2+ years

Float Requirements :  As Needed – May float to other MS units

Must Have Skills / Experience :  MS / Tele experience

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Active RN license in New Mexico
